Workshop III | Regeneration of Arts and Crafts & Environmental Sustainability

The final workshop focused on two themes: the regeneration of arts and crafts, and environmental sustainability. The workshop aimed to foster the protection, support, and encouragement of traditional artistic practices, promoting the preservation of traditional knowledge and production methods as sources of social capital and economic opportunities for local communities.

The workshop provided a platform for participants to engage in critical discussions and contribute to advancing sustainable practices, fostering cultural preservation, and creating opportunities for local communities. It sought to strengthen the recognition of arts and crafts as valuable cultural, social and economic assets and emphasized the vital role of heritage in achieving environmental sustainability objectives, including through energy efficiency and preservation of biodiversity.
